# MYND Frontier Phase Freeze And Goal Audit v0.1

**Status:** phase-boundary audit for the long-running MYND frontier research goal  
**Purpose:** prevent the open-ended frontier objective from turning into endless pre-build recursion while preserving the actual remaining research hooks honestly.

## 1. Why This Exists

The original goal was intentionally wide:

coupling/anomalous protocols, and convert meaningful signal into MYND
functionality rather than generic claims.

That objective was valuable, but it is naturally unbounded. A frontier research loop can always add one more paper, one more anomalous protocol trail, one more Apple runtime edge, one more body-field hypothesis, and one more condition-state extraction.

This document defines the cut line:

This does not mean every possible source has been exhausted. It means the current corpus is strong enough that more open-ended research is now lower leverage than building the instrument kernel and letting implementation expose concrete gaps.

These are real remaining tasks, but they should be handled as targeted work after implementation begins:

2. Deeper Gateway/Hemi-Sync primary-source extraction beyond the CIA seed and surrounding altered-state literature.
3. Deeper Persinger/Koren/Granqvist/God Helmet dispute trail.
4. Deeper condition-state extraction for misophonia, PTSD, dissociation/FND, OCD/checking, tinnitus, autism sensory processing, insomnia, migraine, bipolar/psychosis-spectrum gamma/ASSR caution.
5. Swift-level hardening of `AVAudioEngine`, `AVAudioSession` route changes, Core Haptics, Watch haptics, HealthKit, Core Motion, Speech, App Intents, and SensorKit entitlement boundaries.
6. Product-copy verifier fixtures once real UI copy exists.
7. Lab-lane export design for EEG/ear-EEG, external transducers, anomalous locked trials, and human-subjects-style studies.
8. Public App Store copy, clinical/scientific claims, and external hardware dose claims.

New internal theory notes, including the Hopf/harmonic-gauge note, should be admitted only through scoped integration addenda that preserve Slice 0 as the next implementation step.
